EXPERIENCE
Jessica is a seasoned accounting expert with nearly 20 years of experience, including a managerial role at BDO. Specializing in diverse industries, she excels in streamlining day-to-day accounting processes for businesses of all sizes. Certified in QBO and well-versed in various platforms, she manages day-to-day accounting functions and month-end close process for several clients, ranging from small businesses to non-profits to international corporations that require complex and specialized procedures.
Her experience in full cycle accounting includes revenue recognition, project/contract accounting, inventory management and non-profit accounting. Prior to her management position at BDO, Jessica has gained knowledge in a wide variety of industries such as SaaS, property management, retail/restaurant, hotel, and financial services.
Some of Jessica’s past duties include inventory management for an international retail corporation, cash receipt reconciliations for a national non-profit, federal grant reporting, and monthly financial reporting for a private equity firm. In addition, she manages the monthly, quarterly and annual close process which includes reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, general ledger accounts and preparing financial statements. She handles payroll processing and also interacts with external auditors and tax preparers as needed.
Jessica is well-versed in many accounting technology platforms including Quickbooks Online, Microsoft NAV, NetSuite, Intacct, Bill.com, Anybill, Expensify, ADP, Paylocity and more. She has successfully onboarded a number of clients on these technologies to increase efficiency and streamline the accounting functions.
With a strong focus on leveraging technology and efficient processes, Jessica now offers CFO advisory services, including forecasting and planning. Her ability to integrate advanced technology into accounting practices ensures that clients receive comprehensive support tailored to their unique needs.

With over a decade of experience in the USA, South Africa, and UK, Carla has developed bookkeeping and accounting expertise in a variety of industries, primarily in the IT Services sector.
The majority of her career has been focused on managing the entire Finance function of small and medium-sized business, ensuring a high degree of Financial accuracy, and providing invaluable support to the day to day running of the business.
Carla is adept at managing bookkeeping to trial balance, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, and liaising with external auditors when necessary. Skills include bank reconciliations, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, expense claim processing, and maintaining general ledger accounts. She is also skilled in submitting tax returns, compiling payroll for 50+ employees, and month-end reporting.
